Dr. Wissam Al Jundi is a leading Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Elyzee Hospital, bringing over two decades of international expertise in advanced vascular care. Born in the UAE, Dr. Al Jundi graduated with distinction from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004, after achieving the 7th highest high school score nationwide.
He completed his surgical training in South Yorkshire, UK, and pursued prestigious fellowships in minimally invasive vascular procedures at Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, and the University of Toronto Hospitals in Canada. His dedication to excellence is further reflected in his academic achievements, holding a Master of Science (MSc) from Cardiff University, a Master of Education (MEd) from Sheffield University, and an MBA with Distinction from the University of East Anglia.
Dr. Al Jundi has a special interest in complex endovascular aortic procedures, thoracic outlet syndrome surgery, and the management of varicose veins through minimally invasive techniques. Alongside his clinical work, he is passionate about education and training, serving as a senior lecturer at UEA and co-authoring two best-selling postgraduate surgical training books.
He previously served as Deputy Medical Director of Veincentre Ltd, the UK’s largest private provider of venous services, where he led surgeon development programs. In addition, he offers consulting services at Burjeel Hospital.
Beyond his medical career, Dr. Al Jundi enjoys football, cycling, bodybuilding, and traveling with his family.
